In the second training event of CommuniTV, we dealt with the topic of online content promotion. Nowaday, it is important to know the techniques and secrets to create effective posts on the channels of social networks. The platforms we focused on, were mainly Facebook and Instagram, with their differences in usage and audience. However, the two platforms are united by fundamental rules taht must be respected for a constant growth of your pages, such as continuity in the production of content and the need to create a community of followers. In the second part of the workshop, we focused more on Social Media Marketing strategies. Techniques such as User Generated Content, Instant Marketing and Visual Storytelling are excellent solutions to draw up the editorial calendar, essential for a proper management of social profiles. Some platforms such as Facebook and Instagram Business and Creator Studio can be a great tool to support youth reporters, especially in an attempt to study the channel’s insights and understand what content works the most follows.
