CommuniTV Scala e Piani

This week with our group of students we talked about “Scales and values of plan”. We showed them the tutorial made by Anonymal and starting from that video we organized a practical exercise outdoors.

We asked the participating boys and girls to take pictures with their smartphones or rooms on different stairs of the floors: total field; wide field; medium range; full picture; Italian plan; american floor; first floor; foreground; etc.

The scale of the framing indicates the proportion that a character takes in the image with respect to the environment.

CommuniTV youth team had about 30 minutes to photograph subjects using the different scales of framing and then each one showed their work to the group and we discussed and analyzed what "worked" and what "did not work” in the pictures they took.
