In our pocket film the protagonist is Dino, a farmer whose agricultural roots are distant in time, who receives a mandate to expropriate his land. In extreme difficulty he tries to find a solution. But nobody saves himself alone.
Our director Matteo Mariucci writes these words to describe the aim of his first "work":
“To those who ask me what I think of work, I answer them like this: I cannot live a normal life without art. I want it all: the steep descents, the stunned climbs, the cream in between ... sure I could offend someone with my vain excess and my musky smell, oh no I will never be one of those loved by those who snap their tongues and smooth themselves beard and wonder what to do with all the beauty. "
Finally, on Thursday 7 October we will present our first pocket film 'C-Orto' at the PerSo - Perugia Social Film Festival. The PerSo was born in 2014 as an international documentary film festival which, starting from mental disability, extends to the social point in the broadest sense of the term, to the reality of real life. With a view to including and overcoming prejudices on mental disability, activities related to culture become the founding basis of a path of fusion between the social aspect and the health aspect. The natural evolution of these premises was to think of an activity that could narrate the psychic disability taken from different angles, with one of the most complete and fascinating languages: film and documentary.
